President and Executive Director: Wolfgang Müller

Wolfgang Müller

Wolfgang Müller is a German expert on energy transition with extensive experience in international policy and economic research. Early in his career, he served as a country director for a German foundation in South Africa and Zimbabwe and conducted a three-year empirical study on economic reforms in India. Over the past two decades, he has held senior positions in leading free-market think tanks, where he developed and managed research and outreach initiatives on energy and economic policy. His work increasingly centers on the challenges and opportunities of the global energy transition, including organizing and contributing to numerous high-level conferences on the subject. He is a member of the Mont Pelerin Society and an Honorary Alumni of Students for Liberty.

Director: Shane Frith

Shane Frith

Shane Frith is a British/ New Zealand entrepreneur and liberty proponent. He has worked for numerous think tanks in London and Brussels dealing with energy security. He is involved in a number of technology start-ups and is a strong advocate of how technology and liberty can increase prosperity and happiness. He has advised senior politicians across many nations. Between 2002 and 2004 he was the chairman of the International Young Democracy Union. He now lives in London with his wife and son.

Chairman: Terry Easton

Terry Easton

Terry Easton is a serial entrepreneur and university professor who has served as a Trustee on a number of non-profit Boards including the Graduate Theological Union, the 22nd Century Foundation, and several other secular and religious organizations. He holds a BES in Engineering Science (EE and Computer Science studies) and an MS in the Management of High Technology. He has held top secret classifications working on US military projects. In 1970 he was a member of the NASA Apollo Program engineering management team, based in Washington. In 1977 he founded the nation’s first Graduate Department of Telecommunications Management in San Francisco. Over the decades, he has been the co-founder of a number of successful private technology enterprises, several of which were merged into major publicly-traded companies. He is the author of books on technology, management, economics and politics, and has spoken at numerous conferences and seminars world-wide on the subjects of the future of technology and its impact on society. He is an Emeritus Fellow of The Explorers Club and a Life Member of the Mont Pelerin Society. He and his spouse Susan have been married for 55 years, and live in San Francisco and London.
