The Global New Energy Institute™ (GNEI) is a scientific think tank and advocacy organization dedicated to advancing the understanding and adoption of modern, state-of-the-art nuclear energy technologies. Our mission is to engage policymakers, media, influencers, academics, and the wider public in an informed discussion about the 21st-century New Nuclear™ Energy Revolution.
GNEI’s core argument is fundamentally economic: next-generation nuclear technologies have the potential to deliver electricity at dramatically lower costs than legacy 1970s-era systems. New Nuclear is clean, ultra-safe, compact, and capable of decentralized deployment. It will be essential to the national security of NATO and allied democracies by ensuring reliable energy supplies for civilian and military needs while reducing dependence on illiberal regimes, particularly in the Middle East.
